Cody York

Cody York is the founder of Yorktown Press, where he combines his passion for education, publishing, and emerging technology to empower writers and learners. With over a decade of experience as Director of Publications at the Tennessee Secretary of State's office, Cody has overseen the production of a variety of print and digital publications, including the Tennessee Blue Book. His deep understanding of the publishing industry, along with his expertise in technology and education, fuels Yorktown Press’s mission to support aspiring authors and lifelong learners.

As a Reformed Baptist pastor, a homeschooling father, and an advocate for innovative learning, Cody is committed to equipping individuals with practical skills and knowledge. Through Yorktown Press, he offers hands-on workshops in AI, publishing guidance, and educational resources that make learning accessible and actionable.

Whether helping authors bring their stories to life or teaching the real-world applications of AI, Cody is dedicated to building a community where creativity, knowledge, and innovation thrive.

Matt Giffin

Matt Giffin is a Yorktown Press associate and the creator of Dawn Treading, a newsletter publication under Yorktown Press.

Matt’s experience as a news reporter and the editor-in-chief of MTSU Sidelines informs his perspective on the power of media and stories to shape people and culture. He is also passionate about Christian education and works as a ghostwriter.

At Dawn Treader, Matt writes about the importance of good stories, theology, art, culture, life, and a number of other subjects where he lacks expertise but is willing to traverse anyway.
